New Office Hours as of December 1
The Parkglenn location of the authority has changed its office hours and is now open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
As of Dec. 15th, all services formerly located at the Parkglenn location, such as plan reviews, have been moved to 9195 E. Mineral Avenue in Centennial.
The South Metro Fire Rescue Authority was formed May 1, 2008, by intergovernmental agreement between South Metro Fire Rescue and the Parker Fire Protection District. It is the intent of that agreement to operate as a fire authority while working towards a full legal merger of the two fire districts. Click here to reach the fire authority web page. The South Metro Fire Rescue Authority provides emergency medical, fire suppression, and fire prevention services to the people living and working in Arapahoe and
Douglas counties. The authority covers 176 square miles and includes: the cities of Parker, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Centennial, Lone Tree, Castle Pines North, and Foxfield; as well as much of the Denver Tech Center, Meridian, Inverness, Park Meadows, Centennial Airport, and the communities of Castle Pines Village and Louviers.
